Tha Producerz production company is a multi faceted full service music production team based in Atlanta, GA. It was formed in 2001 as a spin-off from a local independent record label in Detroit, MI called, "New Independence Records". This label housed some of
Detroit's hottest acts such as Rell Devine, Kevv, the Hard Hittas, and Fashun. All of these projects were the exclusive responsibility of Tha Producerz, as they were the in-house production team for the label. At that time, they were Detroit's best kept secret while the artists they produced captured the attention of music executive Kevin Black. When the label decided to close its doors, it was time for Tha Producerz to expand its capabilities and build itself into an established brand.

Over the years, they have grown their client base to include various songwriters and artists across all genres of music, not to mention film and television music libraries, publishers, and corporations. Now their goal is to build upon the momentum that the brand has been garnering over the last few years and translate that into
major label placements.
 
As a team of producers and songwriters, the company consists of
 Anthony Knight a.k.a. Putt, Jermontae Ponder, and Anthony Guild a.k.a. Yish.These three, along with a talented team of artists and songwriters, are poised to become the next big thing.
